This policy explains what personal information Pitter Patter Child Care collects through this website, how it is used, and your rights. We keep it plain and short — no legalese.
1. Who We Are
Pitter Patter Child Care is a licensed home-based childcare provider. You can contact us at pitter1patter@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect and Why
Enrollment inquiry form — When you submit an enrollment inquiry we collect:
- Parent/guardian name, email address, and phone number
- Child's first and last name, date of birth, and age group
- Child's allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or developmental needs (if any)
- Preferred care schedule (start date, days, drop-off and pick-up times)
- How you heard about us and any questions or comments
We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry, assess fit for our program, and manage our waitlist. We do not use it for marketing.
Review submission form — When you submit a review we collect your name, email address, star rating, and written review. We use this to contact you about your submission and, with your permission, to display your review on our website. Your email address is never published.
Automatically collected information — We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics software on this website. We do not build profiles on visitors.
Your browser automatically sends your IP address to Cloudflare (our hosting provider) as part of normal web traffic. Cloudflare may log this per their own privacy policy. We do not access individual visitor IP logs.
If you load this page, your browser also contacts Google's servers to download fonts (Poppins and Open Sans). Google may log that request per their own privacy policy.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Web3Forms — Our contact form processor. When you submit a form, the data is securely transmitted to Web3Forms' servers and forwarded to our email inbox. Web3Forms may retain a server-side copy per their privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare — Our website host. Cloudflare processes web traffic and may retain server logs per their privacy policy.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of a child in our care.
4. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Enrollment inquiries: kept in our email account for up to 12 months, or until you request deletion.
- Reviews: retained indefinitely unless you request removal.
- We delete records for families who did not enroll within 12 months of their inquiry.
5. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted). Our website is a static site with no database, which significantly limits the attack surface. Form submissions travel directly from your browser to Web3Forms over TLS. We cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted over the internet, but we take reasonable precautions.
6. Children's Privacy
Our website is directed at parents and guardians, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Enrollment forms are completed by adults on behalf of their children. If you believe a child has submitted information to this site without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Request a copy of your information
- Request correction or deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent for use of your information
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and CalOPPA, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
